Smarter Security Systems Expands Sales Force
Austin, TX (PRWEB) March 12, 2008 -- Seeing strong growth in demand for its Fastlane entrance control offerings, and with increasing market traction for its Smarter Outdoor security solutions, Smarter Security is pleased to announce the hiring of new Area Sales Managers and expanded sales coverage.
"Our Fastlane Optical Turnstiles are unique in their intelligence and elegant aesthetics, to which our customers have attested by increasing their purchasing," said Mark Ellsworth, Vice President of Sales. Our new Area Sales Managers, and the increased coverage they provide, will allow us to better serve our customers."
Fletcher Blades joins the Smarter Security team after nearly 20 years in the security industry. He comes to Smarter after 13 years with ADT Security Services, Inc. where he was consistently in the top 5% of the entire company in sales. Fletcher's government expertise stems from working with agencies such as the United States Marshals Service, the ATF, and the DEA. Fletcher started out as a commercial and government installation technician for a small security contractor in the Washington D.C. area. Fletcher makes his home near Washington D.C. and manages government sales and field sales for D.C., Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland.
Robin Hakos comes to Smarter Security with more than 15 years of experience selling to Fortune 500 companies within the NY metro area. She previously worked as a Business Development Manager for a professional services consulting firm involved in data center and base building design, build out, and project management. Robin spent several years before that in the distribution of wire, cable and physical security products to end users, contractors and integrators. Robin resides in northern New Jersey and manages field sales for New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Eastern Pennsylvania, and Delaware.
John Cocking has been with Smarter Security for the past year managing field sales for Texas and neighboring states. Prior to Smarter Security, John spent 16 years in the datacom and security industries with Anixter, Accu-Tech, and Rexel in positions covering operations, sales, sales management, and branch management. An Atlanta native, John now resides in Houston. His early success with Smarter Security led to the recent expansion of his territory to include the entire southeastern United States.
Along with these positions, Smarter Security also announces the recent additions of Travis Coe in technical support, Byron Marsales to lead marketing, and Kyle Christian to coordinate inside sales efforts.
