Covenant Security International Launches New Critical Infrastructure Protection Division

Reston, VA (PRWEB) April 17, 2008 -- Covenant Security International, LLC (CSI), a leading security, training, assessment and risk consulting brand, announced Angela Williams - Tasky, CPP, as the Managing Director of the newly formed Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) division. In that role, Ms. Williams-Tasky is responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of the new division created to assist private industry with meeting regulatory requirements of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and continuing to enhance our nation's critical infrastructure and key resources security in an ever changing environment. The division's initial focus is to assist chemical facilities with cost efficient regulatory compliance with the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS). CIP is uniquely positioned to assist covered facilities thanks to a highly qualified team of professionals with intimate DHS & CFATS experience, knowledge, and training.

Prior to joining CSI, Ms. Williams-Tasky provided pre-decision analysis and guidance to senior officials during the initial stand-up and operational implementation phases in both the Chemical Security Compliance Division (responsible for the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards) and the Protective Security Advisor (PSA) Program within the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Protection of the Department of Homeland Security.

Ms. Williams-Tasky has served as both a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service and as a sworn Police Officer and Investigator in the state of Nevada. She has also managed large and complex projects for a variety of venues representing Fortune 500 businesses and major event facilities. Ms. Williams-Tasky holds a BA in Criminal Justice and is completing a Masters in Business Administration. She is an active member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) and is board certified in security management as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
